"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Great gallery! Remember; in photography, using the flash is a last resort! Using the flash washes out the image, creating an over-abundance of contrast and erasing detail. Try setting up a lighting situation indoors that helps to create the mood you are attempting to portray. Also, consider working with a manual setting to avoid that automatic pop-up flash. Using a tripod is also an option; your aperture will increase in size with low-lighting, and thus create that dreaded "blurred" image. Using the tripod keeps the lens stationary and increases clarity.
